Minimum Requirements for Admission
In order to be admitted, you must:
- Have at least five credits in related subjects, such as English Language, Mathematics, one Science subject, and two other subjects. You can get these credits in one sitting or over two sittings, but not more than five credits in a row.
- You have to be at least 16 years old to apply.
Must have at least five years of education after elementary school. - For Direct Entry candidates, you must have at least one upper credit in the appropriate ND program.

- Must have made their first choice when they signed up for JAMB.

Hostel Accommodation
Located in the south wing of the Delta State Coll. of Physical Education, the student hostel offers accommodation for all full-time students.
To apply for placement in the hostel, kindly submit your application form to the accommodation office. New students should indicate their need for hostel lodging at the time of admission. A limited number of single rooms are available for senior students on a first come, first served basis.
Hostel fees cover lodging in a furnished room with basic amenities like a bed, desk, wardrobe and ceiling fan. Twin sharing arrangements are common to foster meaningful interaction and networking with classmates. Common bathrooms and recreation areas offer additional space to mingle and unwind after a long day.
Hostel residents are provided with hygienic vegetarian meals in the dining hall three times a day. Special dietary needs can also be catered to with proper documentation and advance notice to the warden.
