Depending on the course you choose, the Nnamdi Azikiwe University’s (UNIZIK) new student tuition ranges from N60,000 to N70,000 every session. The acceptance fee and a few other costs are included in the fees. Students who are returning are simply charged N20,000–N25,000.
Nnamdi Azikiwe University Admission Requirements
The requirements for applicants seeking admission to UNIZIK through JAMB (UTME) are listed below:
- Candidate must have a minimum of 5 O Level Credits from the Senior Secondary Certificate Exams (SSCE/GCE) in no more than 2 sittings.
- For your course, you must select the appropriate JAMB subject combination.
- Candidates must have at least 180 JAMB score on the recently completed JAMB UTME exam.
- UNIZIK must be your first choice of institution.
- Candidate must take part in the UNIZIK POST UTME/SCREENING.
- Candidate must be at least 16 years old.

Nnamdi Azikiwe University Admission Requirements for Direct Entry (DE)
The criteria for applicants seeking admission to Nnamdi Azikiwe University through Direct Entry are listed below:
- Candidate must have a minimum of 5 O Level Credits from the Senior Secondary Certificate Exams (SSCE/GCE) in no more than 2 sittings.
- Candidate must have two subjects linked to their field of study at the “A” level or IJMB with passes.
- Candidate must have a Degree in a related discipline for their chosen course of study (First Class/Second Class Upper).
- The UNIZIK Direct Entry form must be purchased by direct entrance candidates through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and UNIZIK portal.
Nnamdi Azikiwe University Hostel Accommodation
It is now possible for new and returning students, particularly first-year and final-year students, to pay the UNIZIK hostel accommodation cost. The administration of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, prioritizes 100-level and final-year students before 200-level, 300-level, or 400-level students.
