Kaduna State University Admission Requirements

  • Applicants must pass a minimum of five (5) O-level credits including Mathematics and English at a maximum of two sittings for admission to the undergraduate programme.
  • They must also have a minimum JAMB score of 160 and choose KASU as their major institution. In addition, applicants must meet the specific requirements of the proposed study program.
  • For postgraduate studies, the applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and at least a second-class lower division diploma from a recognized university.
  • In addition, the applicant must have at least three (3) years of work experience after graduation, and must also meet the specific requirements of the proposed curriculum.

It is important to note that meeting the minimum entry requirements does not guarantee admission to KASU, as admission to the university is competitive and merit-based.

To be admitted into KASU through UTME, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must have at least two (2) A-level certificates or equivalent certificates in the relevant subjects.
  • National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) candidates can also apply for direct entry to KASU.
  • Applicants must also participate in the KASU direct selection examination and obtain a minimum score determined by the university.
  • Finally, applicants must meet the specific requirements of the proposed curriculum as defined by the university.
