Adesina College of Education, is one of the tertiary institutions owned by the Kwara State Government. Founded in 1978, the college is located in Share, the headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The institution was renamed after the late Chief S.A. Adesina, the Asiwaju of Share, who contributed immensely to its development.

Minimum Requirements for Admission

Hostel Accommodation
The hostels in Adesina College of Education provide comfortable accommodation for students. There are three hostels: two for male students and one for female students. The hostels have single and double rooms, as well as common areas like bathrooms, study rooms and recreational areas.
Male Hostels
The two male hostels, M1 and M2, can accommodate over 1,500 students combined. Each hostel room is furnished with beds, mattresses, wardrobes, tables and chairs for two or three occupants. The hostels have common bathrooms on each floor with shower facilities. There are also common rooms for indoor games and group studying.
Female Hostel
The female hostel has the capacity to accommodate up to 700 students. It provides similar room facilities and amenities as the male hostels. In addition, the female hostel has increased security with female gatekeepers and wardens who oversee the hostel. A sick bay with a resident nurse is also available in the female hostel.
To ensure the well-being of students, the college has strict rules for students residing in the hostels. Some important rules include: no cooking in the rooms, no noise after 10 pm, no visitors of the opposite sex allowed in the rooms, and students must return to their hostels by 9 pm every night. Students who violate the hostel rules will face disciplinary action.
The hostel fees are quite affordable for students. Returning students are given preference for hostel accommodation at the beginning of each semester.
