Ebenezer College of Education Amangwu was established as a teacher training college. It was founded by the proprietor, Rev. B.C. Amadi, with the goal of training qualified teachers to teach in primary and secondary schools. The college started with only 50 students but has grown to over 2,500 students today offering various programs.
