4. Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)

Obafemi Awolowo institution (OAU) is a federal institution located in Ile-Ife, which is located in the state of Osun in Nigeria.The regional administration of Western Nigeria, which was led by Samuel Ladoke Akintola, authorized the establishment of the university in 1961, and courses began in October 1962 under the name University of Ife. The military regime led by Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida renamed the institution “Obafemi Awolowo University” on May 12, 1987.
