About Osun State College of Education, Ilesa
Osun State College of Education, Ilesa (OSCOED) was established in 1977 as a College of Education in Nigeria. The goal of the institution is to train teachers for primary and secondary schools in the state and beyond.
The pioneer Provost of the College was Chief E.A. Adedeji. OSCOED started with the Faculties of Arts, Sciences and Vocational and Technical Education. The student population was about 500 in its first year of operation.
