Babcock University is a private Christian co-educational Nigerian university located in Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria. The university was established in 1959 by the Seventh-day Adventist Church as Adventist College of West Africa (ACWA) and was later renamed Adventist Seminary of West Africa (ASWA) in 1975.
It became Babcock University in 1999, after being granted a license to operate as a private university by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
