Kano State College of Education and Remedial Studies is a state-owned tertiary institution established in 1979. It started as Kano State College of Education before the remedial programme was introduced in 2005.

The college has the main campus along Zaria Road in Kano and two other campuses in Bichi and Dambatta.

Hostel Accommodation

Kano State College of Education and Remedial Studies, Kano offers hostel accommodation to its students. There are separate hostels for male and female students within the college premises.

Students are required to pay hostel accommodation fees which cover a full academic session. The fees are paid at the beginning of each session. Currently, the fees for bed space in the male hostel is N25,000 per session while the female hostel accommodation is N30,000 per session.
