Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja is one of the leading higher institutions of learning. Founded in 1992, the polytechnic has over the years grown tremendously in all areas, especially in student population and number of courses offered.

Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja – also known as KSP – is located in Lokoja, the capital city of Kogi State. The polytechnic offers National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programs to students across Nigeria in fields like Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, and more.

Kogi State Polytechnic School Fees

Tuition fees vary depending on your program of study and level. For ND and HND programs, students pay around ₦45,000 to ₦65,000 per semester. Part-time program fees are slightly higher at ₦55,000 to ₦75,000 per semester. Postgraduate program fees start from ₦75,000 per semester. While these fees are low, the polytechnic does offer scholarships and bursaries for students with exceptional results and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Kogi State Polytechnic Admission Requirements

To gain admission to KSPL, you need to apply through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtain the minimum cut-off mark for your chosen course. If your score meets the requirement, you’ll be invited for a screening exercise at the polytechnic. Candidates who pass the screening are offered admission.

As a student, your accommodation will be in one of the hostels on campus. Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja has several hostels to choose from, each with its own character. KSPL have the male and female hostel space. The amount varies from session to session.
