University Of Ibadan School Fees

For undergraduate students

The school fees for the academic session range from N35,000 to N45,000 for students in the faculties of Arts, Education, Law, and Social Sciences. Students in the faculties of Science and Technology pay between N45,000 to N55,000, while those in the College of Medicine pay between N70,000 to N75,000.

For Postgraduate students

The University of Ibadan also pays different amounts of school fees depending on the level of study and the course of study. University Of Ibadan Admission Requirements

Below are the admission requirements for undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University of Ibadan.

Undergraduate Admission Requirements:

  • Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must have attained the age of sixteen (16) years or above by the 31st of October of the year of application.
  • O’Level Requirements: Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes at the O’Level, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings. The five (5) credits must include English Language and Mathematics and three (3) other relevant subjects for the course of study.
  • JAMB Requirements: Applicants must have taken the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination and scored the minimum required mark for their chosen course of study.
  • Post UTME Screening: Applicants are required to participate in the university’s post UTME screening exercise and score the minimum required mark for their chosen course of study.

Postgraduate Admission Requirements:

  • Minimum Academic Qualification: Applicants must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of Second Class Honors (Upper Division) or a Lower Division with a Postgraduate Diploma from a recognized university or institution.
  • Transcript: Candidates must request for the official transcript of their academic records from their previous institution(s) and ensure that it is forwarded to the Postgraduate School of the University of Ibadan.

The amount paid by each student depends on the type of hostel, room type, and level of study. For instance, students in the male and female halls of residence pay between N14,000 to N25,000 per session, while those in the postgraduate hall pay between N28,000 to N40,000 per session.

Postgraduate Hostel Accommodation Fees:
