Taraba State University Admission Requirements

TSU admission requirements through UTME 

Candidates for Taraba State University admission in 2023 must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
  • Candidates must receive a minimum of 6 (six) “Cs (Credits)” in their O’level exam results. English language, math, and three other subjects pertinent to their area of study must be included. A candidate for law school, for example, needs to have a “C” in English Language, Mathematics, Government/History, Economics, and English Literature.
  • Candidates must take the TSU post-UTME screening examination and perform exceptionally well (depending on their course of study) in order to be admitted to the Taraba State University (TSU).
  • Candidates must also obtain a minimum JAMB UTME score of 160.
  • Finally, candidates must get the required cutoff marks for their courses in order to be admitted to the university. Candidates must select the right subject combination for their courses.

Direct Entry Admission requirements for TSU

Candidates must fulfill the following conditions in order to be admitted directly into Taraba State University (TSU):

  • Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credits on their O-level transcript. Including Mathematics and English in not more than two sitting.
  • Candidate must be 16 years and above
  • To apply, candidates must get a JAMB Directly entrance form from JAMB.
  • Any of the these certificates(OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, A level Cambridge, BSc, HND, and ICAN) should be held by candidates
