In order to be admitted, you must:

  • Have at least five credits in related subjects, such as English Language, Mathematics, one Science subject, and two other subjects. You can get these credits in one sitting or over two sittings, but not more than five credits in a row.

    Must have at least five years of education after elementary school.
  • For Direct Entry candidates, you must have at least one upper credit in the appropriate ND program.

  • Must have made their first choice when they signed up for JAMB.

Hostel Accommodation Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afahansit

The College has two hostel blocks within the campus – the male hostel and the female hostel. Both hostels provide basic accommodation with shared rooms, bathrooms and common areas for students.

  • Each hostel room contains bunk beds, mattresses, reading tables, chairs and lockers for securing personal belongings. Rooms have ceiling fans for air circulation and windows for daylight and ventilation.
  • Common bathrooms have toilets, sinks and showers with running water. Bathrooms are communal, separated by gender and shared between hostel residents.
