Federal College of Education (Technical), Umunze was established in 1977 as a Technical Teacher Training College. It was later upgraded to a Federal College of Education in 1985. It started with the National Certificate of Education (NCE) programme in Science, Mathematics, Pre-vocational and Pre-technical teaching subjects.

Hostel Accommodation
