Edo State University Admission Requirements

Below are the admission requirements for candidates that want to enroll in the school:

• Candidates who took the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible for admission.
• The minimum passing score for EDSU is 170.
• The online application form must be completed by applicants by going to the edouniversity.edu.ng website of Edo State University, Uzairue.
• All applicants must have obtained at least five (5) credits in relevant courses, including English language and mathematics, at the GCE O’ Level/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or their equivalents in no more than two sittings in order to be considered for admission. The five credits (including English and Mathematics) for Medicine and Surgery (MB; BS) must be completed in one session.
• All applicants must pass the Uzairue Screening Exercise at Edo State University.

Direct entry

The 2023 JAMB direct Entry form must be purchased and completed by all candidates for Direct Entry.

The following are acceptable for direct entry admission to the 200 level at Edo State University, Uzairue:

• For admission into three- and four-year degree programs, candidates must have at least a Merit pass in NCE, a Credit in OND/HND, or a Second Class (Lower Division) in BSc.
• Candidates with two Advanced Level passes in relevant subjects, or its equivalent.
• At acceptable grade levels, the School of Basic Studies is moderated by the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), or Cambridge.

Edo State University Hostel Accommodation

In each of the residence halls of Edo State University Uzairue, a selection of rooms and living arrangements are available. Accommodations are offered for new and returning students each academic session in the halls of residence, which are all located on campus. 24/7 security services are available in the residence halls. Students with comparable interests and other amenities are offered in the room/living options to support their lifestyle preferences.

The various accommodations, which vary in price, may include things like 10, 8, or 6 spring bunk beds, mattresses, lighting, water, Wi-Fi, a water heating system in the bathroom, and cooking space with or without a stove. Students can go from the halls of residence to any location on campus using shuttle buses for a reasonable cost.

While those who paid 60,000 will receive up bunk beds, those who paid 90,000 will receive down bunk beds.
