The School Fees

The Polytechnic Ibadan is a public tertiary institution, so the school fees are subsidized by the government to make higher education accessible to all. However, some fees still apply to help cover costs.

The tuition fees range from 15,000 to 45,000 Naira per semester for most diploma and National Diploma programs. Degree programs like the Bachelor of Technology are on the higher end of the range. The fees are made in full once school commence.

Polytechnic of Ibadan Admission Requirements

To gain admission into the Polytechnic Ibadan, there are a few requirements you’ll need to meet. As a higher education institution, The Polytechnic Ibadan aims to attract top students, so make sure you understand what’s expected of you.


First apply for the school form. You can find the application on the Polytechnic Ibadan website and submit it either online or in person. Entrance Exam

Applicants are also required to take the Polytechnic Ibadan Post-UTME screening exercise which serves as an entrance exam.
